Mile Marker 14
Town: Wellesley, MA
Street: Central Street (72-137)
The halfway point of the race goes right through the middle of downtown Wellesley, an upscale suburb. The road is relatively flat through this section and runners are hoping that they have conserved enough energy to tackle the second half of the course.

At mile 13, just as the screams of Wellesley College die down, you run through downtown Wellesley to more screaming. Stay cool, the race may be 1/2 over, but physically (and emotionally) you are really only about 1/3 of the way through.
The mile is net flat.
