15-16 is a tricky mile. The first 1/3 of a mile you climb 33 feet. The last 2/3 you drop 133 feet to "bottom out" at 36 feet elevation as you cross The Charles River at eaxactly the 16 mile mark. It has been said that "any idiot" can run the first 16 miles of Boston. You are about to find out what you have left in the tank. The race really strarts here.
